#Ukraine’s Minister of National Unity, Oleksiy Chernyshov, predicts that 70% of citizens will return after the war if the country develops and stabilizes. He told BBC News Ukraine that 30% may come back once safety is assured, followed by another 40% later.
I think it’s feasible, because economics is one of many and not the most important aspect for emigrants - and I know because I’m one too ;) Especially when you have kids factors such as language, culture, social networks and school start to play an increasingly important role.
I know plenty of Poles and other Eastern Europeans who left UK when their kids approached the school age. They left with significant money savings earned in the UK, useful professional skills and job experience, and they left to Poland with significantly improved economy.
